Urz\u0105dzenie jest gotowe do pracy zaraz po pod\u0142\u0105czeniu zasilania. Aby dane mog\u0142y by\u0107 u\u017cyte do oblicze\u0144, musz\u0105 by\u0107 one uzyskane z minimum 5 satelit. Ilo\u015b\u0107 satelit u\u017cytych do obliczania pozycji GPS wy\u015bwietlana jest na jednym z ekran\u00f3w roboczych (rys. 9). O fakcie uzyskania minimalnej ilo\u015bci satelit, informuje nas niebieska dioda LED \u201eWska\u017anik FIX OK.\u201d przedstawiona na powy\u017cszym rysunku.
